For a property to be considered "Green" or "Energy Efficient", it must qualify for the 7 star Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS). On average, these home loan providers offer a discount of 0.25 credit points on a new or existing loan under their Sustainable Home Loans. Some of these providers include FirstMac, Bank Australia & Gateway Australia.
